Breakfast at our place

First thing in the morning I nurse Caroline, and usually daddy gets Luke up. Luke dashes down the hallway and makes a fast right turn into Caroline's room where we sit in the glider. He says enthusiastically, "BEBE SISTUH DU-LINE!" (du-line is how he says Caroline). I tell him she is having her breakfast--what will he have for breakfast? "Bitix, Shashelles, Nola, Hot wowo!" (Crispix, waffles, granola, hot oatmeal--he has his own unique take on consonants). Then he runs out toward the kitchen. When I emerge with Caroline, he pats the table and says, "bebe sistuh, right here." He likes her to sit on the table in her bouncy seat. We attempt to narrow his breakfast menu choices to one or two of the above, and we add a little fruit and milk. So we begin the day!

While you're at it, Kim, can you make some Belgian crepes? Seriously, the special vocab needs to be written in a little journal dictionary-style. Because that's going to be FUNNY when he's older, but what if you can't remember them all?! BIZY MONO?!

What a sweet morning routine! I love Luke's vocab. It sometimes takes a lot of translation with Owen too.
