Asparagus

Liam has pretty stubbornly refused spoon feeding. He took a little bit of baby food around 6 months but subsequently refused to be spoon fed. I have encountered this problem before--Luke was similar. I have to remember that he will eventually eat, and pureed baby food is more for learning and developmental reasons than nutritional ones! I know that by 9-12 months he will be self-feeding at the family table. When that pincer grasp appears, there is no stopping them! So, we have kind of played it by ear. When we have steamed veggies, we either chop them up small or give him larger pieces to gnaw on and watch him like a hawk. Here he is just over 7 months:
