9 months

9 months old. Liam, where has the time gone! The year has been so fast at times--but then the sleeplessness has made it seem like an eternity! You have not been our best sleeper, but you are improving. You are challenging Mommy and the Lord is using it to refine me, I think!

You are usually a very happy and sociable baby. You like mommy best. I'm ok with that! You like to be held and carried, but you are getting more independent with your mobility. You are at the point of confident crawling where you will set off to explore the house and check on people in different rooms. You play with Caroline a lot in her room. You can't go in Luke's room because it's always like a Lego bomb went off in there! Lukey is good at watching out for you and keeping small parts out of your mouth. That's not to say that I haven't found a lego in your mouth before. . .
You are waving, and saying hi, light, and kitty. You love your bath. You hate eating from a spoon. You are teeny tiny (got your percentiles at your dr. visit and didn't write them down. Need to call and get those!) You were about 0% for weight and 50% for length. Maybe you would like to start eating something??
You are healthy as a horse and we will trust that you know how to eat and grow. I am confident that you will learn how, as soon as your abilities catch up with your independent streak!photos courtesy of pap pap.
