2 years/2 weeks

Today we had a joint two year/two week doctor visit for the kids. I took my mom as my reinforcement (I'm new at this two kids thing). Luke and I read Corduroy Goes to the Doctor in preparation, and things worked out just as the book says. Books in the waiting room (and Nonna):

The verdict: healthy boy! The stats:
29 pounds, 8 ounces--60% (weighed with clothes on and a big sweater--I suspect the correct weight is at least a pound lighter)
34 inches tall--40%
Head, 49.6 cm--75% (big brain as usual)
Luke was a real champ with his one shot--he cried briefly and recovered quickly. Then he and Nonna went to look at the waterfall in the lobby. When I asked him about the visit after his nap, he seemed to remember the waterfall most.

I regret that I didn't get any pictures of Caroline's experience--she wasn't too happy so I was dressing/undressing/consoling/etc. instead of photographing. See below for her stats!
