Zoo

We went to the zoo on Thursday. My best pics aren't of real animals at all. Despite some big talk in the car on the way there, Luke refused the "real" pony rides. He and Aaron James enjoyed these play ponies:
Luke most enjoyed the children's area, where he was able to look at fish up close, play in the bird exhibit, and pet this bunny:
Probably the biggest hit was the gravel in the children's area. . .good for scooping with his backhoe. I think he noticed the animals a little more this year. To be honest, he was really most interested in running along all the paths and around corners. That explains why I don't have a classic "Zoo" shot of an elephant or tiger. I needed all my attention to keep up with Luke.

He didn't want to get on the real horse? That's weird...I'd totally think he'd be all over that with his adventurous spirit. Well, someday, maybe.

A wooden horse is a very inexpensive horse. Perhaps he will prefer index funds and be a finance major!

Kim,
Thanks for posting the cutie pic of our precious boys! It totally cracks me up that my blog debut is actually of my rear end! :)
