Caroline has her own little tree in her room--pink bows and teddy bears. It was mine as a girl. I thought it would be nice to have a boyish version for Luke. He and I set out to Hobby Lobby to accomplish the task. He behaved really well in the store and was really wanting some train ornaments. Because it was getting close to Christmas, there were no train ornaments to be found! Oh no! Just as we were giving up (Luke had stated he just didn't want any ornaments at all--none pleased him) we saw the TRUCK ORNAMENTS! Anyone who is acquainted with Luke knows that these are perfect for him. He sees these more as toys and entertainment than decor. He loves to get the tree down, sleep with the preferred trucks, etc. He is quite proud of his little tree.
