Big seat

Well, Caroline became so obsessed with Luke's Stokke seat that we got hers out of the box and let her start using it. She is doing great with not dropping her plates. I don't like to use much plastic at home, so I bought white Corelle bowls and plates at Wal Mart when Luke started sitting at the table. It won't break when it hits my wood floors, it won't flip in the dishwasher, and I don't have to worry if there are any chemicals in it (unlike some plastics). My mom had a set of the same Corelle when we were young, and it is still around (now used for cat food at her house). So, here is Caroline enjoying her snack in a real bowl. Offending, non-palatable food does still get a tossed overboard pretty frequently. This new seat came with a shoulder harness, whereas the old one only has a lap belt. I am sure it is safer, but I am not sure how long we will need the shoulder straps for her. For now it is a nice touch because she isn't as sturdy as Luke yet.

There's my girl!

I love me some Corell! We still have some of that around from when I was a kid--the stuff lasts.

Had fun with you today. My wedding strategy for the weekend? ATTACK! : )

Later, pretty cuz. -Dani-

...sometimes just the privledge makes the behaviour a little bit better...we now refuse the high chair (even when pulled up to the kitchen bar), but will sit at our table in the big-boy chair OR at his own sized table (yes, in the middle of the kitchen...). We don't throw too much on the floor although we have been known to say to heck with the plates! I still use select plastics - Tupperware for dining - but then again, I dosell plastic for a living!
