Absolved

I said a few days ago that I wasn't sure about the flameleaf euonymus plants. The one in part sun, which I complained wasn't showing its "flame" color, apparently just needed a little more cold weather. This week it turned gorgeous!


I think I like this plant now. I'll try to post a pic when it loses its leaves, because the branches are really cool and interesting. I bet the other ones which struggled are in just a little too much (100%) full sun, and could use protection from afternoon exposure. We may try moving them. They also might be planted a little deep in the ground--the cardinal sin of planting trees and woody shrubs!
