It was POURING rain on Easter morning, so we couldn't do an outdoor hunt. I prepared their baskets the night before (trinkets, toys, and a few treats). Michael was working on the church parking crew and we attended the 8am service, so there was not time to present the baskets at breakfast. When we arrived back at the house, I told them their baskets were probably hidden somewhere in the house and they needed to start looking. Crossing my fingers that they would not start looking in the room I had them stashed in the closet, I sent them off to hunt. The "Easter bunny" was very sneaky and hid the baskets in the guest room while they were checking another wing.

She discovered candy this Easter--her candy is finished, and it is good. Mean dentist parents don't give you enough treats. (Seriously, we are not that hyper about sugar, just brushing afterward!)

Assessing the matchbox truck in his basket--he was pleased.
