I started letting Liam have this lovie in his bed about a month ago. We were really struggling with sleep and I felt he might benefit from a lovie. He became attached to it very quickly. Now he loves to sleep with it ON his face. It makes mommy nervous! Here is a photo of how he looks on our video monitor (before I sneak in and pull it down most nights!)
I didn't have a video monitor with the first two kids. It is GREAT. It has been a very good investment, especially with the sleep troubles Liam has. It enables me to let him "learn to sleep" (read--cry a bit) with less worry about whether he's actually ok. Maybe the other kids slept like this also and I never knew!
