LEGOS! The Thomas the train table is now a Lego city. He started working with the small "big boy" legos around December, and I have been amazed at how well he follows the instructions independently. I guess I underestimated what he was capable of, because I delayed introducing the small legos until he was almost 5--he still had duplos before then. He also takes the toys apart and builds his own creations. I feel that he has a great attention span for his age. He will play quietly in his room for an hour or more, just creating scenarios in his mind.

He always takes a "lego guy" with him everywhere in his pocket. At night, he takes off their hats and accessories and places them on the arm of the little time out chair by his bed. I guess his city is kind of like a giant dollhouse--a boyish one, of course!

Awesome. I can't believe he leaves his creations together like that! So fun!
Oliver wants to schedule a playdate. We eat and breathe LEGOs.
