Girliness

Since I had a daughter second, I was surprised when I started to see little feminine mannerisms at such early ages. When Caroline was little over a year old, she started carrying bags and such over the crook of her elbow like a purse. When I would get her dressed while Michael was also at home, she would scurry off to model her outfit for Daddy. Let's not forget that she started her shoe fetish at about 9 months. As Caroline has grown, she has become more of a little lady. Here she is heading out to our swingset with purse and baby doll in arms.

She has just begun to interact with her dolls, feeding them and such. This baby is called Dottie and she likes to swing.
Little girls are delightful fun, and they definitely come with their share of God-given differences from boys. They also have some special challenges. Right now, I would say the challenges center on the CRYING, EMOTIONALITY, and DRAMA! As the little sister of a big brother, I do think that Caroline is more physical, active, and adventurous than some baby girls. She is lots of fun!

Purses and dolls, oh my! A show fetish at 9 months. LOL, Kim. She's a handful, huh? Excited to spend some time with her over Christmas. : D
