We are delighted to announce that, God willing, we will have a new addition in mid-October!
Luke, Michael, and I saw the a beating heart on my ultrasound yesterday. Luke was so excited and wanted to go with us. He behaved very well in the waiting room, but we all know how ob offices tend to run. By the time my 12:15 appointment was finished, it was 1:45 and he was exhausted! He was so sweet with me, patting my shoulder during the ultrasound. I don't think he really thought the pictures looked like a baby, but he was pleased anyway as he saw we were happy. He quickly shifted his concern to Mommy and the new baby going into the hospital and was very worried about that prospect. Sweet boy, today when I left for work he asked if I were going to the hospital for the baby to come out and he got tearful. He is such an excited big brother but is clearly very protective of his Mommy!

Kim and Michael, I am so happy for you! It is wonderful to bring children into the world of Godly and happy families. I know baby will be beautiful, smart and much loved. I so enjoy your post. I know that it is something that your children will love to look back at when they are older. So many happy memories and funny moments!
