Birthday cake creation

The big 4! That sounds so old. When Luke was a newborn, I really thought my friends with 4-year-olds were in a far-off stage.
Anyway, here we are!
For Luke's birthday week, Mimi and Pap Pap were in town from Myrtle beach. Mimi just happens to teach Wilton cake decorating. She whipped up this 3-dimensional Thomas cake the day of the family birthday party. Isn't it the cutest thing?

Luke is currently obsessed with trains. He specializes in Thomas trains and steam trains, but he is learning facts from library books about other real trains, like diesels and electrics. He still loves construction, but something happened in late fall and trains captured his heart!
