My grandfather, Papa, passed away late last night after a long struggle with his health. I love this picture of Papa and Caroline at the fourth of July parade in 2007. He really enjoyed Independence day and was a proud Navy veteran. I like to think that some of Luke's mechanical inclination comes from Papa. He loved to build things and invent new ways to solve problems around the house. I am grateful for his example of hard work and persistance. He was a rock and will be greatly missed.

YEs, that is a priceless picture, especially now. So sorry to hear about your family's loss. My favorite grandparent was my grandfather and it is still painful. However, remembering him in Luke sounds like a great way to keep him with you.
