Music class

We have loved our Music Together classes since Luke was 18 months old. These pictures were taken at the end of the spring semester, when I actually remembered to bring my camera. Sometimes I forget to record daily life! These pictures show the "jam session" that happens toward the end of each class--the kids get to play a variety of instruments to their hearts' content. We have tried Kindermusik as well, but I much prefer Music Together. (We loved our Kindermusik teacher, but the recording made me want to scream!) In contrast, the music together recordings are pleasant to adult ears as well as fun for the kids. I find that since the music is acoustic (recordings of real instruments instead of synthesizers), it is so much nicer to listen to. These classes are also based on good research. We are gearing up for fall!
