Current events

Luke was just perusing the newspaper to keep up with current events. Wow, these pages have so many more words than Goodnight Moon!
"Look Mom! Look at this ad for the Zoo! It says they are featuring the gorillas again, and this time they guarantee no escapees!"

I think reading the newspaper is a good life skill--one that I have lacked since I had a baby. Maybe we should go back to a daily subscription so Luke can play with it! This was a good 20 minutes of whine-free fun.
News in one hand, lovie in the other. He has become so attached to that lovie. The other day at Nordstrom with my mom, he grabbed a new one off a shelf. Of course Nonna bought it for him--so now he has three lovies in the rotation.

Good eatin' too!

I didn't get into the paper reading habit, either, and I never know what is going on in the world. It's a constant source of shame for my father when I don't know who so-and-so is. I guess Luke can tell us now, since Goodnight Moon is getting kicked to the curb! I love the way you present the pictures. Your comments are so funny and make them so much more alive. : ) And...I thought of Mom (Dana) with the paper chewing...it's good fiber, no?

Reminds me of: "When your words came, I ate them..." (Jeremiah 15:16)

A young prophet...

Ahaha...when your words came, I ate them. That's super funny. Who was that? Show yourself, Anonymous!
